The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at California State University, San Bernardino was created at the Palm Desert Campus in 2003. Our OLLI program provides intellectually stimulating programming for the large and growing 50+ population in the Coachella Valley, both full-time residents and seasonal visitors.
The wide variety of courses in the arts and humanities, natural sciences and social sciences offer many options for members to expand their interests and keep their minds sharp. Courses are taught by current or retired university professors, or accomplished professionals with significant expertise in their field. Osher membership is also a great way to build a strong social network of interesting friends.
Research supports the claim that lifelong learning has a significant impact on quality of life for older adults.
