Learning to maintain nervous system regulation with BodyMind Coaching
The improvement in quality of life that my clients experienced as they left the office inspired me to help teach others how to maintain the easy, happy, relived feelings they had. With my programs, it starts with the nervous system.
Heightened, chronic stress has us feeling miserable in our everyday life, and those emotions manifest in our physical bodies as muscle tension, headaches, digestive issues, and changes in heart rate and blood pressure. That chronic stress can come from our beliefs, or perspective on our lives. We hall have ideas of what we want to change, what we “should” do for our overall health. But old habits die hard and it can be a challenge to actually gain the momentum needed to get unstuck in these habits.
BodyMind coaching helps you realize and connect what your anxiousness and pain are trying to tell you so you begin to understand what your body is saying it actually needs. I encourage healing with your newfound understanding through commitment to PLAY, PLEASURE, AND PERMISSION (permission for rest, creativity, movement…) Embodiment is the first step to solidifying that feeling.
I love to help people untie the knots that have them going around in circles of anxiety or irritation. Once you have a new goal of one or more of the above commitments, I help you make sure you are seeing those changes through. Sessions will involve a combination of body-centered awareness exercises, traditional coaching tools, and embodiment/mindfulness practices.
